Astronout

Astronout, the project of producer Mark Camp, has long been connected to the Bay Area’s underground electronic music culture. Emerging from the San Francisco rave scene of the 1990s, he appeared on Planetary House Nation alongside fellow local artists including Darwin Chamber.

His music ranges from deep house and downtempo to chillout, often favoring a slower, melodic, and introspective approach. But Astronout also brings a harder edge to the dance floor, delivering dark, underground hard-house tracks built around driving four-on-the-floor rhythms and DJ-friendly energy.
